Built for how we celebrate.
Why Spray exists
Nigerian celebrations run on generosity, and the money moves by bank transfer. But the tools around it were built for somewhere else. Online wishlists ship goods we don't buy that way, and most of the real buying happens in WhatsApp groups, with screenshots, voice notes and someone keeping a list.
The hardest part is Aso Ebi. Hundreds of guests, two families, a cutoff date and a notebook of who has paid. Hosts spend the weeks before their event matching transfers to names instead of enjoying it.
Spray gives every celebration one link. Guests buy their Aso Ebi, chip into a wishlist and send gifts, paying by transfer like they always do. Every event has its own account number, so every payment is matched to the right person and the right item. Hosts see it all in one place, and the money goes straight to their bank.
What we believe
- Hosts shouldn't pay to collect gifts. Spray is free for them.
- Money should be easy to send and impossible to misread.
- Trust has to be visible: verified hosts, clear account numbers, and a report button on every page.
- Every occasion deserves its own tone, from a loud wedding to a quiet remembrance.
