How to pay on a Spray page: a guide for guests
The short answer
Open the host's Spray link, add what you want to pay for (Aso Ebi, a wishlist item or a cash gift), and pay by bank transfer to the page's own account number or by card. Your payment is matched to your name, and the money goes to the host's verified bank account through Spray's payment partner.
- No app or account needed: it's a web page.
- Pay by transfer to the page's account number, or by card from abroad.
- Payments are matched to your name, so the host knows it was you.
- Verified hosts show a badge; you can report a page that looks wrong.
Paying, step by step
Open the link
Hosts share their Spray link on WhatsApp. It opens in your browser.
Choose what you're paying for
Add Aso Ebi to your cart, chip in to a wishlist item, or choose a cash gift amount. You can add a note and a short video or photo for the montage.
Pay by transfer or card
Transfer the exact amount shown to the page's account number from your banking app, or pay by card. If the host has turned them on, you can also pay in pounds, dollars, euros or Canadian dollars.
Get your confirmation
You'll see a confirmation when the payment lands. Leave a phone number if you'd like a receipt and pickup details.
Is it safe?
- Money goes through a licensed payment partner to the host's bank account. Spray doesn't keep it in a wallet.
- Hosts confirm who they are with their BVN or NIN, and payouts only go to an account in their verified name.
- New pages are reviewed. Verified hosts show a badge on their page.
- See something off? Use Report this page at the bottom; payouts pause while we check.
Questions
- Do I need to download an app or make an account?
- No. Guests pay from the web page in their browser.
- I sent the wrong amount. What happens?
- It goes to the host's review queue, and they match it to you by hand.
- Can I pay later?
- Yes. Tap Remind me and pick when: tomorrow, next week, after payday or before orders close.
- Is there a fee for guests?
- Sometimes. Each host chooses whether guests cover Spray's fee (₦100 + 1.5% per payment, never more than ₦2,000); you see the total before you pay.
