How to move your Amazon wishlist to Spray (and Jumia, Konga or any store)
The short answer
Open the Wishlist step on Spray, choose Import from screenshots, and add up to 6 screenshots of your Amazon, Jumia or Konga wishlist or cart. Spray reads each item's name, price and photo, converts foreign prices to naira, and you tick the items to add. Each one becomes a fund guests can chip into or cover in full.
- Works with any store or app you can screenshot.
- Up to 6 screenshots at a time; nothing is added until you tick it.
- Prices in pounds or dollars are converted to naira at the day's rate.
- You can also paste a single product link and Spray fills in the name and price.
Why move your wishlist to Spray
Store wishlists are built for one person buying one thing, delivered to one address. For a Nigerian celebration that rarely works: guests want to chip in together, many will pay by transfer, and you'd rather buy the item yourself, from where you want. On Spray each item becomes a fund. Guests give any amount or cover the rest, and the money comes to you.
Import your wishlist from screenshots
Screenshot your list
Open your wishlist, cart or saved items in the Amazon, Jumia or Konga app or website and take screenshots. Make sure each item's name and price are visible.
Open Import from screenshots
In the Spray create flow, go to the Wishlist step and choose Import from screenshots. If your page is already live, use Wishlist on your dashboard.
Add the screenshots
Add up to 6 at a time. They're resized on your phone before upload.
Let Spray read them
Spray finds each product, its price and its photo. Prices in another currency show their naira value at today's rate.
Tick, edit and add
Untick anything you don't want, fix any name or price, then add them. Each becomes a wishlist fund on your page.
Or paste a product link
For one item at a time, paste its link from any online store. Spray reads the product name, price and photo from the page. Linked items are checked again over time, and you choose what happens if the store's price changes: update your target automatically, ask you first, or keep it fixed.
After you've imported
- Put the most-needed item first. Guests start at the top.
- Decide whether to show progress. With Show progress on, guests see what's raised and can cover exactly what's left.
- Choose whether your page opens on the wishlist. Birthdays and housewarmings usually do.
Questions
- Does Spray buy the items for me?
- No. Each item is a cash fund. You buy what you want, where you want, when the money arrives.
- Can I import from stores other than Amazon?
- Yes. Screenshots work with any store or app, including Jumia, Konga, Temu and shops on Instagram.
- What if the price on Amazon is in pounds or dollars?
- Spray converts it to naira at the day's rate and keeps the store's own price for guests paying in that currency by card.
- Are my screenshots stored?
- They're only used to read the items. Product photos are cut from them for your wishlist; nothing is added to your page until you choose.
