How to record cash and transfers you received outside Spray
The short answer
On your Spray dashboard, open Payments and choose Log a payment. Enter who paid, how much and how, then pick what it was for: shop items, wishlist funds or a cash gift (whatever isn't on an item goes to the cash gift automatically). It counts in your totals and stock straight away.

Log a payment, step by step
Who paid
Open Payments on your dashboard and choose Log a payment. Enter the guest's name, the amount, and how they paid: cash, a transfer to your own account, or something else.
What it's for
Use the + buttons to add shop items, type amounts against wishlist funds, and let the rest go to the cash gift. The bar at the top shows how much is assigned.
Check and save
Review the parts and save. Shop items start as awaiting pickup.
Why it's worth doing
- Your stock stays right, so you don't sell fabric you've already handed over.
- Your thank-you list includes everyone, not just people who paid online.
- Your totals show the whole picture of what you received.
Questions
- Does logging a payment move any money?
- No. It's a record of money you already have. Nothing is charged or paid out.
- Can I split one payment across items?
- Yes. Add as many shop items and wishlist amounts as you need; the rest goes to the cash gift unless you set it yourself.
